American Institute of Physics. Physics Programs.
The activities of Physics Programs are designed to serve the interests and needs of the physics community in general and the American Institute of Physics' Member Societies more specifically. It's five program divisions are: Career Planning and Placement, Education (which includes the Society of Physics Students and Sigma Pi Sigma), Education and Employment Statistics, Physics History, and Public Information. It's two magazine divisions are Physics Today and Computers in Physics. In 1988 the name was changed from Educational Programs to Physics Programs.
