Ebert, Robert H.
Ebert (Chicago, M.D. 1942) taught medicine at Western Reserve University and was director of Medicine at University Hospitals of Cleveland from 1956 to 1964. In 1964 he was appointed Jackson Professor of Clinical Medicine at Harvard Medical School and chief of medical services at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). Ebert served as dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Harvard from 1965 until July of 1977. His research is in the field of respiratory inflammation and infection.
