Whaling vessel, out of New Bedford, Mass., mastered by Thomas H. Wilson and J.E. Chase (taking charge from 29 Oct. 1881), on voyage 8 Oct. 1878-23 Sept. 1882 to between Pigeon and Tristan, French Rock, Vasquez, Off Shore, Middle, and other whaling grounds; owner-agent: Taber, Gordon & Co.; built at New Bedford, Mass., 1852.
