Gordon, Kermit, 1916-1976

Kermit Gordon (1916-1976), economist and government official, was a member of the Council of Economic Advisers from 1961 to 1962, and Director of the Bureau of the Budget from 1962 to 1965. He served as Chairman of the Health Insurance Benefits Advisory Committee from 1965 to 1967, and was a member of the Advisory Council on Social Security from 1968 to 1971.
