Botanist and nature writer, of Reno, Nev.; b. Olga Augusta Wuertz in Illinois; moved to Reno in 1929; graduate of University of Nevada, Reno, in Botany; her book, Biographies of Nevada Botanists, was published by the University of Nevada Press in 1965.
