Sheppard, Edmund M., 1933-
Edmund MacMillan "Ned" Sheppard was born in New Rochelle, New York in 1933. He earned his B.S.E.E. in 1956 at the University of Miami, S.M.E.E. in 1958 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Ph. D. in 1962 at Purdue University. He taught at M.I.T. and Purdue before becoming a professor at the University of Maine teaching electrical engineering.
