Kinyon, Stanley V. (Stanley Van Eman), 1908-
Stanley Van Eman Kinyon was born on November 21, 1908 in Owatonna, Minnesota. He earned his B.A. in 1931 and his LL.B. in 1933 from the University of Minnesota. In 1934, Kinyon joined the faculty of the Law School at the University of Minnesota as an instructor. He was promoted to assistant professor in 1936, associate professor in 1940, professor in 1943 and was named assistant dean of the Law School in 1949. Professor Kinyon retired from the University in 1974. Stanley V. Kinyon died on January 24, 1975.
