Lyne, Cassie Moncure, 1875-

Cassie Moncure (1845-1934) was an ardent supporter of the Confederacy. She married Wm. H. Lyne (1843-1887), a Confederate veteran, in Richmond, Va., in 1868. Moncure supported the establishment of Memorial Day.
