Hays, William Charles, 1873-1963
A member of the faculty at the University of California, Berkeley, Charles William Hays served as Dean of the School of Architecture from 1917-1919. Often collaborating with John Galen Howard, he designed buildings throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
