Bianchi, Janis

Lawyer, of Seattle, Wash.; active in state lobbying organizations dedicated to women's health issues and civil rights between 1989 and 1997. Served on board of Taxpayers for Choice (part of the pro-choice Washington movement) and in 1992 became involved with Washington Citizens for Fairness, serving on the executive board. The mission of the organization was to protect the civil rights of all individuals, regardless of race, gender, creed, or sexual orientation through education and political organization. Bianchi was also involved with the Privacy Fund, the political action committee (PAC) for Washington Citizens for Fairness.
