Indiana Women's Political Caucus
The Indiana Women's Political Caucus organized in 1971 as an affiliate of the National Women's Political Caucus to advance the status of women through political aaction. Major issues pursued by the group included the Equal Rights Amendment, promoting women as political leaders, women's health, abortion, pay, housing and credit equity, and rape. The caucus was active in the 1980s.
