Gaston family.

Henry Alexander Gaston, a Napa and San Jose, Calif. attorney and judge (d. 1887). Correspondence includes letter from A.I. Battin, Gaston's father-in-law, regarding oil speculation in Colorado (1865) and from George L. Woods, Governor of Washington Territory, to Mrs. Gaston, Bakersfield, expressing condolences at death of her husband (1887).
