Blane, M. W., 1901-
M. W. Blane discusses his experiences living on the Land Between the Lakes in Stewart County, Tennessee. He mentions farming in the region and how the community gathered to harvest crops. He recalls bootleggers, hunting, fishing, cutting timber, gathering ginseng and other roots native to the area. He also reflects on how the people felt about the Tennessee Valley Authority purchasing their land and how it affected him personally.
