Carter, Herbert James, 1858-1940
H.J. Carter, 1858-1940, was an entomologist interested in Coleoptera. He was President of the Linnean Society of N.S.W., 1925-1926, a fellow of the Royal Zoological Society and the Royal Entomological Society, and honorary entomologist to the Australian Museum, Sydney.
