McPherson, Madeleine

Madeleine McPherson was born in Brisbane 1941 and is a librarian by profession. She has held a variety of positions within Queensland branches of the Australian Labor Party at State and local level and served on numerous committees. She has also been a member of a range of organisations including the Queensland Council of Civil Liberties, Australia-China Society, Family Planning Assoc. (Qld.), Amnesty International, Queensland Women's Coalition, People for Nuclear Disarmament.
