Albany, Louise Maximiliane Caroline Emanuele, Princess of Stolberg-Gedern, calling herself Countess of, 1752-1824
Louise, Countess of Albany, was married in 1772 to Charles Edward Stuart, pretender to the British throne (Bonnie Prince Charlie). After that marriage floundered, in 1778 she became the mistress of Vittorio Alfieri, the Italian dramatist, and was with him until his death.
