Smith, Andrew Murray, 1826-1896.

Berkshire Medical College was incorporated in 1823 and organized as the medical department of Williams College in 1833. The affiliation was cancelled in 1837 and an independent charter was obtained. In 1865 the name was changed to Berkshire Medical College and in 1867 the college closed.
