Southern Baptist Convention. Committee to Study Total Southern Baptist Program.
The Southern Baptist Convention, founded in 1845, is a voluntary association of churches in the United States with headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee. A recommendation of the Executive Committee was approved by the Southern Baptist Convention in 1956 to study the total program of the Convention. Douglas Branch served as committee chairman.
