Coles, Abraham, 1813-1891

Abraham Coles was a translator, poet and author, born in New Jersey. He studied medicine, and a scientific perpsective is evident in some of his work. He is probably best known for his hymns and psalms, but he also published on literary, scientific, and medical subjects.
