Moorehead, Alan, 1910-1983
Moorehead, born in Croydon, Victoria, was a journalist with the Melbourne Herald, 1930-1935, a war correspondent with the Daily Express London, 1936-1945, and author of a wide range of books: historical (Gallipoli), travel books (No room in the ark), biographies (Montgomery) and novels (The rage of the vulture).
