Guest, William S. (William Selman), 1913-1992

William Selman Guest was born July 3, 1913, in Rome, Georgia. He received his commission as Ensign in the U.S. Navy in 1935, and advanced through grades to the rank of rear admiral in 1962. He served as commander of Military Sealift, Pacific, from 1970 to 1974. Guest died on August 13, 1992, in San Diego, California.
