Pacific Coast Intercollegiate Athletic Conference

The Pacific Intercollegiate Athletic Conference was organized in 1915. Its original members were the universities of California, Oregon, Washington, and Oregon Agricultural College. In 1916, Stanford University and Washington State College were admitted to the conference; in 1922, the University of Idaho and the University of Southern California; in 1924 the University of Montana; and in 1928 the University of California at Los Angeles. The University of Montana resigned from the conference in 1950. The conference was dissolved as of June 30, 1959.
