Zimmermann, Reinhard Sebastian, 1815-1893
Reinhard Sebastian Zimmermann studied at the Munich Academy. Active as a portrait painter, he was appointed painter to the court of the Grand Duke of Baden, and dedicated himself to depicting Bavarian and Swabian peasant life.
