University High School (Columbia, S.C.)

Secondary school, 1932-1966, operated as a joint venture between USC and the Columbia city public schools to train student teachers in the School of Education at USC; originally, the school housed grades nine through eleven; the school added grades seven and eight in 1936, and grade twelve in 1946; the school closed in 1966 when the city allowed student teaching in other city schools; building currently known as Wardlaw College.
