Adams, Charles S.

In 1919, Charles C. Adams became the first director of the Roosevelt Wild life Experimental Station (part of the New York State College of Forestry at Syracuse University) located in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State. He left the Roosevelt Wild life Experimental Station in 1926 to accept the position of director of the New York State Museum in Albany, N.Y. Adams held this position until his retirement in 1943.
