Meeting of 45 Protestant Evangelical scholars and leaders held in Warrenville, Illinois May 1-3, 1977; the purpose of the meeting was to draft a call which would outline the basic elements of historical Christianity to which American Protestants should return; the papers produced at the meeting were published in 1978 as THE ORTHODOX EVANGELICALS.
