Poyas, Elizabeth Anne
Charleston, South Carolina writer. Elizabeth Anne Poyas (ca. 1792-1877) sought to publish her family stories and fables, although the Civil War hindered her progress. Poyas was married to Henry Smith Poyas (ca. 1787-1824).
