Teacher and missionary; taught at Tucson Indian School from 1895 to 1903. Married school superintendent, Frazier Herndon in 1896. They worked as Presbyterian missionaries to the Tohono O'odham Indians until 1926 when they moved to Tuba City, Ariz. as missionaries to the Navajo until 1934.
