Worcester Safe Deposit and Trust Company
Worcester Safe Deposit Company (1804-1869) reorganized as Worcester Safe Deposit and Trust Company from 1869-1904; as Worcester Trust Company, 1904-1917; in 1917 Worcester Trust Company merged with Worcester National Bank to form Worcester Bank and Trust Company; in 1934 this merged with Worcester County National Bank to form Worcester County Trust Company; later was reorganized as Shawmut Bank.
