Cabot, Elizabeth Dwight, 1830-1901.
Born in Boston, Mass, Cabot married James Elliott Cabot, they had seven sons. In 1888, she met Ellen Chase, a social worker from England, and sharing an interest in social welfare, they maintained a correspondence for the rest of Cabot's life.
