Willis, Constance
Mrs Constance Willis was a lifelong Christian pacifist. She was secretary to the Rev. Donald Soper for several years from 1929, and a member of the Peace Pledge Union from the 1930s. From 1951 to 1969 she worked as a reporter for Peace News, The British Weekly, The Friend, The Congregational Monthly, Reconciliation and local newspapers. She reported on peace conferences, rallies, marches, court appearances and other occasions connected with the peace movement. She was also involved with organising events for the International Fellowship of Reconciliation.
