Oughton, John R., 1857-1925.
Pharmacist and cofounder and president, from 1900 to 1925, of the Leslie E. Keeley Company in Dwight, Il. a corporation for the treatment of alcoholics. Oughton took over the running of the Keeley Institute in 1900 when Dr. Keeley died. He was also Mayor of Dwight from 1895 through 1905. He owned a large estate, where he bred dogs and horses and included a deer park.
