Wisconsin Dialogue Editorial Board.
John W. Morris, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs formally proposed the creation of a University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire faculty journal in 1978. The idea for such a journal arose from conversations of faculty, academic staff, and emerti concerned about the difficulty with scholarly communication at a growing university. Intended to improve colleagues' knowledge and appreciation of each others' work, Wisconsin Dialogue: A Faculty Journal for the University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire was first published in 1980. With the exception of 1981, the journal was published annually until 1993.
