Wheeler, Charles, 1881-

Charles Wheeler was an Australian painter. He was born in New Zealand and arrived in Australia in 1892. He won the Archibald Prize for 1933. In 1939 he was appointed master of the painting school at the National Gallery, Melbourne, Australia.
