Gale, Henry Gordon, 1874-1942
Physicist. Born 1874 in Aurora, Illinois. Received A.B. from University of Chicago in 1896, Ph. D. in Physics in 1899. Joined University of Chicago faculty in 1899 in Department of Physics, full professorship in 1916, retired in 1940. Died 1942.
