MacFarland, Carrington, 1836-1914.
Carrington MacFarland was a local surgeon from Oswego, New York who served during the American Civil War with the 81st and 115th New York Volunteers. He returned to Oswego following the war to continue his medical practice and later wrote a book titled "Reminiscences of an Army Surgeon".
