Bonutti, Karl B.

Karl B. Bonutti (b.1928) is professor of economics emeritus at Cleveland State University and honorary consul of the Republic of Slovenia (1991), formerly serving as the Slovenian ambassador to the Vatican (1998-2002). He earned his Ph.D. in Social Economy from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. Through his work at the Cleveland State University, Bonutti authored Selected ethnic communities of Cleveland : a socio-economic study [report] (1977, c1974), edited the Cleveland Ethnic Directory (1990) and several monographs for the Cleveland State University's Ethnic Heritage Studies department. The monographs reflect the rich cultural heritage of various ethnic groups represented in Cleveland, Ohio.
