Marsh, Irma, d. 1987.
Mrs. Irma Marsh was the superintendent of Castleberry School District. She was born in Fort Worth and lived in Tarrant County all of her life. She was a graduate of North Side High School, received her bachelor's degree in education from T.W.C. in 1939 and her master's degree in administration from T.C.U. in 1941. She became Castleberry School Superintendent in 1958 after teaching at Castleberry since 1924. She retired in 1972. She was a member of River Oaks Methodist Church, Castleberry Retired Teachers Association, National Parent-Teachers Association and several other professional organizations. In 1971, she was named outstanding administrator by the Texas Classroom Teacher's Association. The city of River Oaks had a Irma Marsh Day and the Zonta Club named her Women of the Year for 1959-1960. She died on February 10, 1987 at the age of 86.
