This document contains information on the following families: Aldrich, Bacon, Bentley, Clark, and Schwartz. George Aldrich of Derbyshire, England ( - 1682), married Katherine Seald ( - 1691), came to America in 1631 and lived in Mendon, MA. His children, grandchildren through son Jacob Aldrich (1652-1695), and great-grandchildren through grandson David Aldrich (1685-1771) are listed. Michael Bacon, baptized in 1579, of Winston, Suffolk Co., England, was married to Alice and along with their children came to the U.S. Descendants through his son Ebenezer Bacon are documented. A will is located in Wilkes-Barre, Twp., PA for descendant Septimus Bacon, signed 1861. William Bentley (1645-1720) was born in England, came to Exeter, R.I. in 1675, and died in Kingston, R.I. He was married to Sarah Leithfield (1648- after 1720) and information on their descendants through son Thomas Bentley are documented. The Clark family begins with Nathaniel Clark (1681) who married Hannah Stebbins Sheldon (1683) in 1705. The Schwartz family begins with Michael Schwartz ( - 1849) who married Catherine Sheetz ( - 1856).
