Pittsburgh Roentgen Society.
The Pittsburgh Roentgen Society was formed on May 17, 1932 as an organization of doctors and radiology technicians to promote the advancement of roentgenology (radiology). It was the first of its kind in the U.S. It initially worked to correct misconceptions about the effects and advantages of x-ray technology, but now functions more for the promotion of scholarship and career schematics for radiology.
