Murray D. Edwards Theatre History Collection (University of Guelph)

Historical monographs, pamphlets, textual archives, and graphic materials relating to the history of Canadian theatre in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Murray Edwards (b. 1924) wrote A Stage in Our Past (1968) and his resources included files and photographs of early theatre personalities such as Ida van Cortland and Albert Tavernier.
