Greene, Lily, 1916-
Born in Toronto, Lily (Steinman) Greene graduated as a stenographer in 1932 and throughout her career was involved in the union movement and, as a secretary to Tom McEwen-- the Communist Party of Canada. She is a charter member of the Ontario Voice of Women. During the Vietnam War she was involved in aid for Vietnamese children in the form of a knitting project.
