Texas native. Graduate of Texas State College for Women (later Texas Woman's University). Dispatcher for Civilian Pilot Training program. Joined the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) during World War II. Graduated class of 43-W-4. Stationed at Romulus Army Air Base, Michigan.
