Trunk, Herman, 1894-1963
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Herman Trunk (1894-1963) was a modernist painter who worked in a variety of media, and is well known for his watercolor paintings produced in the early 20th century. Trunk studied at the Pratt Institute and the Arts Students League and had a solo exhibition at the Dudensing Galleries (later the Valentine Gallery) in New York, N.Y.
