Magarey, Susan

Susan Magarey AM, FASSA, PHD (born in 1943), has been made a member of the Order of Australia for pioneering Women's Studies as a field of academic endeavour. She is author of monographs: Unbridling the tongues of women (1986), Passions of the first-wave feminists (2001), co-author of Roma the First: a Biography of Dame Roma Mitchell (2007) and has articles and book chapters published extensively.
