Hardigg, Carl A. (Carl Adolphus), 1890-1967
Carl Adolphus Hardigg (1890-1967) was born in Uniontown, Kentucky. He received his commission in the infantry in 1913, and graduated from the Army War College in 1929. He reached the rank of brigadier general in February 1942, then major general in November 1944. He served as chief of the subsistence section, Quartermaster Corps from 1944 until his retirement in October 1946.
