Brooks, G. M. (George Melvin), 1875-1973
Resident of Lawton and Pumpkin Center (outside of Letitia, Okla.); worked for the Lawton post office; b. in Missouri; moved to Comanche County, Okla., 1904 and lived on a farm in Pumpkin Center; won prize for the agricultural float in Lawton's 1914 birthday parade; m. Emma Clay in 1902.
