Bluestone, Irving
Mr. Bluestone's union career began as a member of UAW Local 511 in Harrison New Jersey. He came to Detroit as a staff member for the UAW-GM Department and subsequently became an administrative assistant to Walter Reuther and to Leonard Woodcock. He served as a UAW Vice-President from 1972 to 1980, when he retired.
