University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee. Peace Corps Training Center.
Administrative history note: In 1963, the federal government contracted with the University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee to establish a training center for volunteers to staff as many as six projects a year. The UWM Peace Corps Training Center initially had an office at the downtown campus with some subjects taught on the Kenwood campus. The headquarters later moved to the Kenwood campus. The Center closed in 1970.
