United Nations Association of the United States of America. Iowa City Chapter.
UNA-USA was founded for the purposes of distributing information about the United Nations and encouraging Americans to support the work of the United Nations. The Iowa City chapter maintained an office which sold UN publications and UNICEF cards and raised money to sponsor bus trips to Washington, DC and New York for local high school students. The chapter sponsored an annual tour of Iowa City homes to raise funds to support these bus trips.
